Is This 1970s Huge Acrylic Conch Shell Floor Lamp by Roger Rougier Available?
ISO: a kelp forest memento
Welcome to Is This Available? by Dana and Maria, our weekly blast about something we find on Facebook Marketplace.

One of the defining aspects of a conch shell is mystery and I love that. Like the allure of pistachios, not knowing what’s inside and hoping it’s awesome is the best part.
There’s nothing, however, mysterious about this “bold, structural, oversized conch lamp.” It’s three feet tall, translucent, and we don’t even have to squint to see its magical orb. I have no idea where I’d put a conch as tall as a 4-year-old, but I’m happy that it could be cast in Steven Universe as an ally to the gems. This conch wears its freaking orb on its sleeve. I want an autograph.
